If you have any questions, please see Ms. Castaneda in the Perch or email: romcastaneda@dallasisd.org. A list will be posted outside the Perch where you may locate your Dallas ISD ID number and review the number of hours accumulated.

· Set up & break down for an afterschool activity/event, organized by Gilliam staff. · Volunteer during an afterschool event for parents organized by Gilliam Staff. (i.e. – recruitment events, school tours for incoming students, and parent meetings.) |
Parents: You can track your student’s community service hours by scanning the QR code and selecting your student’s graduation class. You will need your student’s ID number to access this information. |

- Family-owned businesses
- Babysitting for relatives or neighbors
- Helping friends or family with personal errands
- Unverifiable work with no contact person or signed documentation
All hours must:
- Be supervised (Meaning someone from their facility is there and present)
- Include a printed name, signature, and contact info.
- Serve a genuine community need

- If you are unsure whether a location or activity qualifies for community service, please check with Ms. Castaneda before completing your hours. Getting approval in advance helps avoid any confusion.
